After a few seasons of indifferent form, Harry Redknapp has assembled a squad the looks genuinely capable of maintaining a push for a Champions League place. But as much as their 9-1 win over Wigan marked them out as contenders - the recent 1-0 defeat at home to Wolves suggests they're not the finished article.
As such, Redknapp will be eager to add a couple of faces in January that can strengthen the team - although he'll have to indulge in some of his famous wheeler-dealering. Chairman Daniel Levy has told Redknapp he will have to sell before adding to his squad, although he did add: "We will take note of any opportunities that arise."
