Courtois has been linked with a move to Real Madrid after Chelsea’s difficult season, and according to the Daily Mail, Courtois has had a fractious relationship all season with Lollichon – who formed a close bond with Petr Cech during his time at Chelsea.
It’s claimed that Courtois feels Lollichon’s methods do not suit Courtois, with a source telling the Daily Mail that the pair have “not got on all season”. Courtois ousted Cech as Chelsea No 1 last season, with the fan favourite moving on to rivals Arsenal last summer.
It’s believed that Lollichon will continue to work with the club under incoming manager Antonio Conte, although Courtois has also expressed his desire to remain at Stamford Bridge despite the links with Real.
Courtois impressed in Madrid during a three-year loan spell with Atletico Madrid, and he has been heavily linked with a move back to the Spanish capital as well as Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain. However, Chelsea value the 23-year-old at over £50m and are more than willing to hold out on any offers that fall short of their valuation given that Courtois still has three years to run on the five-year deal he signed in September 2014.
