From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. Serge Aurier has dropped the biggest hint yet that he will sign for Arsenal this summer after being filmed on camera telling a Gunners fan that he will sign for the club.

The Toulouse right-back then retweeted the YouTube clip, entitled 'Serge Aurier tells Arsenal fan he is going to Arsenal' on his official Twitter account.

Watch the video, which Aurier retweeted himself, below...

The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to north London for some time to replace Bacary Sagna, who told the club last week that he wants to move this summer.

Sagna will be leaving after seven years at Arsenal, with Manchester City reportedly leading the race to sign the Frenchman on a free contract.

The Ivory Coast international Aurier is seen the natural successor to Sagna, and has made no secret of his desire to join the FA Cup winners, with the 21-year-old admitting last month that he would not be able to turn a move to Arsenal down.
