Raheem Sterling to Manchester City: Yaya Toure hopeful of arrivals in next 'couple of days'
Manchester City midfielder wants to see side strengthened

Yaya Toure has spoken about the need for Manchester City to strengthen and is hopeful of arrivals in a "couple of days".
The Ivorian was speaking against a backdrop of Raheem Sterling pushing for an exit from Liverpool, with Manchester City seen as his most likely destination considering they are the only club to have made a bid for his services.
Manchester City's most recent bid was in the region of £40m and they are expected to make an improved offer. Sterling in turn has this week reiterated to his current club that he wants to leave and has informed Liverpool that he does not want to go on their pre-season tour.
"I hope maybe in a couple of days we sign new players who are going to come in make us a top team next year," Toure told City's official website.
The former Barcelona midfielder says Manchester City "want to do something big this year" having lost their Premier League title to Chelsea and finishing last season without a trophy.

But in order to do so, they must strengthen, as their rivals are doing.
"We always have to finish first but it's going to be difficult as we have opponents like Chelsea, they're going to strengthen, Arsenal as well. Liverpool have already started, United will do it as well."
