But how have those players who last summer quit the Premier League for pastures new fared since making their move?
Last summer’s transfer window saw numerous high-profile players move overseas for a variety of different reasons, with Romelu Lukaku perhaps the most high-profile, having departed Manchester United for Inter Milan for a club-record €80m.
The Belgium international has since scored 14 goals in 18 Serie A appearances for high-flying Inter, but not every player to have left the Premier League last summer has been quite so successful.
Alexis Sanchez, Ander Herrera and even Eden Hazard are among those to struggle – while several players have been ruled out through injury.
