Your support makes all the difference.Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward has flown to Spain to complete the signing of Pedro from Barcelona, according to reports.
The Daily Mail report that Woodward flew to Barcelona before last night's Super Cup second-leg draw against Athletic Bilbao to undergo more negotiations with the Spanish club.
Having won the first leg 4-0, Bilbao secured the Super Cup 5-1 on aggregate after the match ended 1-1 at the Nou Camp.
It has been reported that Barca are holding out for United to meet the winger's £22m release clause.
Last week, Barca coach Luis Enique said Pedro wanted to leave the club as he has not been getting enough playing time.
The Spain international started 15 out of 35 La Liga appearances last season, and Enrique has admitted that the winger has grown frustrated, and is seeking a move.
"We've heard his opinions, it's a difficult decision that he has to make but we'll wait and see what he decides," Enrique said at a press conference.
"He wants to leave because he's not getting minutes but we want to give him minutes so it's a difficult situation. I certainly want him to stay.
"I'm looking forward to the end of the transfer market so I'll know exactly what I do have."
Pedro, 28, has scored 99 goals in 320 games for Barcelona, and has won five La Liga titles with the club.
