Paul Pogba to Manchester United: Agent Mino Raiola brands journalists 'parrots' and claims £112m deal is not done yet

Your support makes all the difference.Paul Pogba’s agent has stoked the fire on reports that the Juventus midfielder has agreed in principle to a world-record £122m return to Manchester United, claiming there is “no deal done”.
Mino Raiola, the Dutch super-agent behind the deals which took Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Old Trafford this summer, has taken to Twitter to brand journalists as “parrots” before accusing them of engaging in an on-going battle between the English and Italian media.
The 48-year-old’s latest tweet, posted on Friday evening, will alarm United fans who considered Pogba’s switch to have been all but agreed with a medical reportedly taking place in Los Angeles ahead of an imminent announcement this weekend.
It has been reported that United have agreed to part with an initial £92m for the France international and a further £20m to Raiola as part of the transfer with Juventus being expected to pay the tax.
Raiola wrote: “Journalist = parrots No deal done between Clubs. It’s a game between Italy press and UK press who announce it first and who is worse.”
With United due to fly out to Sweden on Friday ahead of their pre-season match against Galatasaray in Gothenburg, it was believed that Pogba was booked in for a basic medical at a remote location in the United States, before undergoing a full evaluation once he arrives in Manchester.
There remains little chance of the deal breaking through in the coming hours and Raiola has previous when it comes to crypic posts on social media, branding the reports last Thursday as "blah blah blah".

Meanwhile, Wayne Rooney has expressed his excitement at Jose Mourinho's appointment at the club.
Speaking to Manchester radio station Key103, the United captain said: “It's always exciting when you get a new manager but to get a new manager in the stature of Jose Mourinho... he's first of all great to work under and he's brought his way of working and a winning mentality back to the club.
“I think Manchester United as a football club need to win. We have to win and he certainly has that winning mentality.
