The agent of Barcelona star Neymar believes that his client would love to play for Paris Saint-Germain - and that the Ligue 1 club could meet the massive buy-out clause.

Wagner Ribeiro spoke to French newspaper L'Equipe about the prospect of Neymar moving to the Parc des Princes this summer.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaving the club in the summer, PSG have been linked with a number of superstars, including Cristiano Ronaldo, while there have been reports in the past that Neymar, 24, could be willing to leave the Nou Camp as he doesn't want to play third fiddle to Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

Ribeiro confirmed that a move in the near future is unlikely, but if the offer was to become more concrete then the Brazil captain would take it into serious consideration.

"What I can confirm to you is that Neymar has a contract with Barca until 2018," Ribeiro told L'Equipe. "He feels good in Barcelona, he's liked over there and he's playing for the best team in the world.

"It's no small feat to impose yourself at such an enormous club. But the prospect of living in a city like Paris and to play for a club like PSG -- that's also a dream for every player. We'll see in two years, when he will be at the end of his contract."

When pressed, he added: "That means that if PSG show an interest in Neymar, we can discuss it.

"A contract can also be terminated provided that the release clause is paid. It's huge: €193million (approx. £154m). But I don't think that might be an insurmountable problem for PSG."

The French paper reported that PSG would offer Neymar a deal worth around £300,000-a-week if he was to join.
