AC Milan have admitted they are uncertain if Mario Balotelli will be at the club next season amid rumours the striker has been offered to Arsenal.

The former Manchester City striker has appeared more settled than during his time in the Premier League since returning to Serie A and has been more consistent on the pitch, scoring 14 goals in 30 league appearances last season.

However, the 23-year-old who will lead his nation's attack at the World Cup this summer, has been linked with a move away from the San Siro. Some reports went as far as to suggest he had been offered to Arsenal for £30m in order that the Serie A side can raise funds to bring new players into the club.

In an indication that AC Milan could be willing to let Balotelli leave, club president Silvio Berlusconi said the Italy striker's future is not certain.

"Will Balotelli stay? We have not decided about the market yet, neither for signings or for sales," he told the Italian media.

"We are evaluating, anyway, new players, but to take decisions we must wait for the new coach", he added.

AC Milan are yet to dispose of current manager Clarence Seedorf but are expected to replace the Dutchman this summer. Seedorf's replacement will likely have a major sway in whether Balotelli leaves or stays at the club.
