Despite landing their four main signings across the past two months, Manchester United are still keeping themselves busy in the summer’s transfer window as they look to tie up a few loose ends.

Marcos Rojo is the latest player to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford and reports from Portugal have claimed that the Argentine could be on his way to Valencia in a deal worth £10.24m.

Valencia owner Peter Lim has allegedly made contact with United and will use his contacts at the club – the Singaporean co-owns Salford City with the class of ’92 – in a bid to land the player.

Andreas Pereira may join Rojo in leaving United – but only on a loan basis. The Brazilian is set to be loaned out to La Liga side Granada, according to the Daily Mail, as the exodus of youngsters continues under Jose Mourinho.

The 20-year-old has chosen to head to Spain after being told at the start of the season by the Portuguese that his first-team opportunities at the club would be limited in the coming season.

But although Mourinho may be more interested at the moment in trimming down the size of his squad, the club continues to be linked with new players.

While Jose Fonte seems to have emerged as the latest target for Mourinho, interest in Monaco’s Fabinho appears to be building.

According to L’Equipe, an offer for the Brazilian could be made shortly. This follows yesterday’s development when Fabinho’s wife, Rebeca Tavares, hinted that the player could be making his way to Old Trafford by following United on Instragram.

Monaco will be keen to hold onto Fabinho after qualifying for the Champions League group stages and while the 22-year-old will miss out on the opportunity of European football if he makes the switch, the French media has suggested that an offer of €30m and above would simply be too good to turn down.
