MANCHESTER UNITED BOUND...
Louis van Gaal will be handed another £150million by the Manchester United hierarchy as the club continue to fight their way back to the elite of English football.
The Dutch coach, according to the Daily Mirror, will sit down with chief executive Ed Woodward and other high-level members at the club today to discuss their future transfer moves.
A major move in this window is a huge possibility, with World Cup winning centre-back Mats Hummels identified as the club's top target. Van Gaal is also a huge fan of Kevin Strootman and Roma admitted they would be open to selling if they received a "huge offer" for the Dutch midfielder.
United are also reported to be in the market for a right-back, with Southampton's Nathaniel Clyne just edging Seamus Coleman of Everton.
STAYING PUT...
Adnan Januzaj will not be allowed to leave on loan in this window and has been told he must stay at the club and fight for his place. The Belgian teenager has been linked with a move to Real Sociedad and Inter Milan having played just 13 matches for the club this season.
But the Mirror report he will not be moving.
HEADING FOR THE EXIT...
Young defensive pair Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair are yet to sign new deals at the club and are free to talk to other teams, report the BBC, - both players are out of contract at the end of the season. The club have refused to discuss their intentions for the two centre-backs.
Radamel Falcao's stay at United continues to be the subject of much discussion with Juventus among the teams who may sign him at the end of the season. On current form United are unlikely to stump up the £43.2m needed to make his move permanent.
THE DEAL'S OFF...
The Daily Star report that Bayern Munich have rejected a whopping £45m bid for forward Thomas Muller, who is also wanted by Arsenal and Liverpool, apparently.
