Your support makes all the difference.Inter Milan have indicated that they will put Wesley Sneijder on the transfer market after talks over a new deal broke down.
The Netherlands international is understood to be Inter's top earner, and with the club looking to reduce its wage bill, has been in talks over taking a paycut.
However, the playmaker has rejected the offer and a standoff between himself and the club has ensued, with Sneijder likely to be left out of Inter's match with Palermo this weekend.
"Sneijder isn't playing because the coach doesn't think he's at his best, above all psychologically," Inter president Massimo Moratti told reporters yesterday.
"For us it's natural to look for a way to not be forced to sell him and he has the right to not accept our offer. If it stays like that, the solution will be on the transfer market."
Manchester United have long been linked with the 28-year-old, particularly after his performances during 2010 which took the Netherlands to the World Cup final and Inter Milan to an historic treble.
In the past any move has been scratched by Sneijder's loyalty to Inter but the current contract row will change that situation. Should the former Ajax and Real Madrid player become available, United will not be alone in seeking his services.
