Manchester United have made a breakthrough in negotiations to sign Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is expected to complete a £50m move to Old Trafford imminently.

United will pay an initial £45m for the 21-year-old with a further £5m in add-ons, having made a breakthrough in negotiations with Palace on Tuesday.

Wan-Bissaka has returned home from international duty with England at the Under-21 European Championships and is expected to finalise his move in the coming days.

The full-back becomes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s second signing as United manager, following the £18m arrival of Daniel James from Swansea City earlier this month.

So, with James signed and Wan-Bissaka close, how could Solskjaer’s United line up next season?
