Manchester United’s new home kit appears to be on sale in Hong Kong, in the latest leak of the Adidas-made strip.

The club are yet to officially reveal the new design, which is believed to include a two-tone yet plain red shirt, white shorts and black socks.

Adidas’ iconic ‘three stripes’ motif runs from the underarms to the hem, as it did on shirts designed by the sportswear company for countries at this summer’s European Championships.

The kit on sale in Hong Kong was placed alongside posters featuring Ashley Young, the United winger, and the words ‘Manchester United home jersey 16/17’.

The design matches that of a kit which was accidentally put on sale in Delhi earlier this year.

Following the leak and ahead of Saturday's pre-season friendly against Wigan Athletic, United have now ‘teased’ the kit by publishing close-ups of its design features on social media.

In one of the images, which focuses on the United crest, a faint two-tone hexagon design - consistent with that of the leaked kit - can also be seen.

It is not known yet whether the new shirt will be worn by United's players when they run out at the DW Stadium.

Last year, the club played several pre-season friendlies in their 2014/15 strip before unveiling their latest design.
