Manchester United are ready to make an £8million move for Portugal and Galataseray winger Bruma as Jose Mourinho prepares to make wholesale changes to his first team squad.

Mourinho is reportedly looking to offload up to eight of his first team squad and the Portuguese winger could be one of the first replacements to come to Old Trafford.

The Sun reports that Bruma, who has scored four goals in ten games for Galataseray this season, has caught Mourinho’s eye with his performances in Turkey after spells in his homeland with Sporting Lisbon and with La Liga side, Real Soceidad.

Bruma also featured for Galataseray against United in a pre-season friendly in July and scored a well-taken goal during his side's 5-2 defeat at Old Trafford.

The 22-year-old has also been included in the Portugal senior squad but is yet to make his full debut in spite of some eye-catching displays for the Under-21s.

Bruma could be brought in as a direct replacement for Memphis Depay who looks set to leave United in January with Everton linked to a potential loan move for the Netherlands international.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is reportedly keen on bringing his countryman to Goodison Park and attempting to hone in on his fine potential.

Depay arrived at Old Trafford with a big reputation this summer but the winger has failed to impose himself in the Premier League since his arrival and the club now seem willing to cut their losses on their £26million.

Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marcos Rojo and England duo Luke Shaw and Chris Smalling are some of the other big name players who have been linked with moves away from Manchester in January.

Shaw and Smalling came in for a public sledging from Mourinho after refusing to play in the club’s 3-1 victory over Swansea last weekend with the 53-year-old questioning their attitudes.
