Manchester United transfer target Erling Braut Haaland is in the process of agreeing personal terms with Juventus, according to reports in Italy.

The 19-year-old Norway international has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign for Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg this season, scoring 28 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions — including 8 in just six Champions League matches.

He has emerged as a primary transfer target for several European sides this January, with Manchester United thought to be at the front of the queue for his services.

However, reports in Italy today suggest the teenager could move to Turin.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus have won the race to sign the wonderkid, having agreed a £6.8m agreement with his representatives over Christmas.

The Italian news outlet claims that Juventus and Salzburg enjoy a strong working relationship.

It is also noted that Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, previously helped orchestrate the deal taking Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt to the Italian club.

The report states that Haaland’s transfer fee will be in the region of £26m.
