Despite winning promotion back to the Premier League on Saturday via the 1-0 Championship play-off final victory over Derby County, Remy is likely to leave Rangers having spent the last season on loan at Newcastle.
The Frenchman, who scored 14 goals in 26 appearances for the Magpies last term, has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Liverpool, and Redknapp has accepted that it is unlikely that Remy will play in the QPR shirt again.
“I don't see (Loic) Remy wanting to come back and play,” said Redknapp. “He's talking about playing Champions League somewhere.
“I wouldn't know what he'll do, but I think he's got a buy-out clause which is at a reasonable level.
“Not much more than we paid for him.”
QPR signed Remy in January 2013 for £8m on a four-and-a-half year contract, but his six goals that season were not enough to keep QPR afloat in the Premier League as they suffered relegation in 2012-13.
However, Redknapp has guided them back to the top flight at the first attempt, with Bobby Zamora scoring a dramatic late winner at Wembley to send QPR fans into celebration.
