Liverpool have agreed an £11m move for Corinthians striker Alexandre Pato, according to reports.

Various reports from today have claimed that Corinthians have struck up an agreement with the Reds for the former AC Milan man.

It has been reported that the Brazilian Pato, 26, rejected a more lucrative contract from China to secure the transfer.

The Daily Star have reported that the player was persuaded into the move by countrymen Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.

Elswhere, the Reds are set to make a £22.3m bid for Anderlecht midfielder Dennis Praet, according to reports.

Reports emerging from Belgium have claimed that Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing the 21-year-old. Praet has won one full cap for the Belgium national team.

Manager Klopp is reportedly considering the prospect of selling striker Daniel Sturridge.

The former Manchester City and Chelsea forward has played just 106 minutes of football under the German since he replaced Brendan Rodgers in October.

According to the Daily Mirror, Klopp has grown increasingly frustrated with Sturridge’s fitness problems and is contemplating selling him next summer.

Despite his recent issues, the England man would attract interest from across the continent and the Reds could command a fee in the region of £25m.
