Liverpool are looking into signing Swansea pair Ben Davies and Wilfried Bony, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur were thought to be keen on both players but with their interest cooling, it is understood that Liverpool have reconsidered their position.

Swansea, in the eyes of many, are already readying themselves for Bony's departure, after making a £6m offer for Watford sriker Troy Deeney last Wednesday.

Tottenham meanwhile reportedly had an offer of Gylfi Sigurdsson for Davies and Michel Vorm turned down, but are said to be considering Bony and World Cup breakout star Divock Origi.

However Origi looks close to agreeing a move to Liverpool, having been spotted at their Melwood training ground on Wednesday.

Brendan Rodgers side are also expected to sign Lazar Markovic from Benfica in a £19.8m deal in the next few days.
