Arsenal fans have spoken - once the impending signing of Petr Cech is finally wrapped up, there is only one man they want Arsene Wenger to target next.

Football website 90min polled Gooners on who they would most like to see at the Emirates - unfortunately for Olivier Giroud, the fans want a top class striker.

13,676 fans responded to the poll, with Higuain, who has scored 53 goals in 102 games in two seasons at Napoli, the favourite ahead of a pair of central midfielder.

Higuain stole 36 per cent of the vote, ahead of tenacious Juventus and Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal and Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin.

Sevilla's Polish midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak garnered just six per cent of the vote and just three per cent of voters thought Wenger should pick Marseille's Gianelli Imbula.
