Your support makes all the difference.Fulham have wasted no time planning for the new season, completing the double signing of Fernando Amorebieta and Derek Boateng.
Amorebieta, 28, is a central defender who made more than 250 appearances in eight seasons for La Liga side Athletic Bilbao.
He played for Spain at under 19 level before switching at senior level to Venezuela, the country of his birth. He has won eight caps and scored one goal which came against Argentina in a 2014 World Cup qualification match.
Amorebieta said: “I’m delighted to have signed a four-year deal with Fulham and I’m looking forward to competing in the Barclays Premier League next season. I’m impressed with the talent already at the Club and I look forward to meeting the players for pre-season training in July.”
Fulham also completed the signing of Boateng on a four-year deal. The 30-year-old Dnipro midfielder tweeted: “I have signed a two-year deal with Fulham FC! I’m happy to see this deal confirmed! Thanks God, my family and everyone who support me!”
