Eden Hazard expects to leave Chelsea “in the next few days” after inspiring the Blues to Europa League glory over Arsenal in Baku.

The Belgian shone in Baku, scoring a double and assisting one more in the 4-1 victory over the Gunners.

But with just one year remaining on his contract, Hazard is almost certain to leave while the London club can receive a substantial fee for his services.

“In the next few days, my departure will be official,” Hazard told RMC.

“I think it was my last game, it’s between the clubs right now, I cannot talk about it yet.

“I hope to face Lille and Chelsea in the Champions League next season.”

If Hazard’s final act was indeed in Baku, it brings an end to a glittering seven years in west London.

The 28-year-old has played 352 games for the Blues, scoring 110 times and assisting 92 more.

Hazard has helped the club win two Premier League titles, two Europa Leagues, an FA Cup and a League Cup.

“During the past seven seasons I was always happy,” he added. “There are ups and downs, but the pleasure of playing football is still there.

“And when we win trophies it’s always good for everyone.”
