Dynamo Kiev have signed the Croatia midfielder Niko Kranjcar from Tottenham on a four-year contract for about £5.5m.

The 27-year-old played 72 games for Spurs, scoring 11 goals, but struggled to get into the team last season. "I wanted to play; that's what you grow up wanting to do," he said.
