There had been many reports that Ronaldo could make his return to Old Trafford before he calls time on his career, but the Portuguese forward has said that he has no intention of leaving Real.
"My dream is to retire at Real Madrid,” the 30-year-old told Marca. “If you take care of yourself, you can play until you are 40.
“I want to continue for five or six more years. I plan to continue [with the same] games and goals average.
“I feel good and useful at Madrid, I want to keep winning here.”
Ronaldo joined Real from United for a then £80m in 2009, and he has scored an incredible 323 goals in 309 appearances for the club.
Former Real manager Carlo Ancelotti had also recently said that he hopes Ronaldo retires at the Bernabeu.
He etched his name into the record books at Real Madrid the other day when he equaled Raul's goalscoring record," Ancelotti told Le Parisien.
"I cannot imagine him leaving Real Madrid.
"I think he will stay at Madrid until the end of his career. Everybody at the club loves him."
Earlier this week, Ronaldo has received a record fourth Golden Boot after topping Europe's goalscoring charts for the 2014/15 season.
