It is understood that the 21-year-old will put pen to paper on an 18-month contract with the Parkhead club.
The Belgium Under-21 player has made seven appearances for the London giants this season since returning from a loan spell at Spanish side Real Betis.
Musonda, who began his career at Anderlecht before moving to Stamford Bridge at the age of 16, flew into Glasgow airport on Monday morning with the transfer window closing on Wednesday night.
