Arsenal are keen on former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, that's according to Spanish outlet Don Balon. It's claimed that with Arsene Wenger keen to add to his strike force in January, the Mexican has been identified as fitting the bill. Since leaving Old Trafford for German side Bayer Leverkusen, Hernandez has been in fantastic form, scoring 18 goals in just 23.

Chelsea will step up their interest in Jamie Vardy in the January transfer window now that Jose Mourinho has left the club. The Evening Standard report that technical director Michael Emenalo recommended the in-form Leicester striker earlier this season but Mourinho was not convinced the England international would fit into his style of play. Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri said just earlier this week that Vardy would not be sold at any price.

Cristiano Ronaldo has appeared to flirt with the idea of a move to PSG. The Real Madrid striker is constantly linked with a move away from the Bernabeu based on just the smallest indications. Speaking to Visão magazine, the Portgual international said he preferred Madrid to Paris but that could "change". He'll obviously be moving to PSG then. This is what he said: "I like Madrid more than Paris, but maybe one day things will change. I might get a girlfriend in Paris and spend more time there", Ronaldo told Visão magazine.

Liverpool are thought to be close to signing Marko Grujic. Jurgen Klopp has identified the 19-year-old, who plays for Red Star Belgrade, and chief executive Ian Ayre has flown to Serbia to wrap up the £5m transfer. The midfielder is considered among the most exciting prospects in Europe and has been linked with numerous clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United. It's claimed that Liverpool will immediately loan Grujic back to Red Star for the remainder of the season.

Manchester United meanwhile are being linked with an even younger prospect. They're said to be monitoring 15-year-old striker Lorenzo Gonzalez, who is on the books at Servette. According to Bild, the striker is attracting interest from various top teams. The young Swiss is known for his pace, so much so he's earnt the nickname Speedy after cartoon character Speedy Gonzales.
