Your support makes all the difference.Chelsea will be boosted by the additions of Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa this summer, after an agreement was reached with Atletico Madrid for the Brazil-born naturalised Spain international today. They will be the eighth and ninth Spaniards to play for the Blues, but Stamford Bridge, however, has not always been a happy hunting ground for La Roja's finest.
A Chelsea statement read: “Chelsea Football Club can confirm an agreement has been reached with Atletico Madrid for the transfer of Diego Costa, with Chelsea meeting the buy-out clause for the Spanish international.”
Arsenal had the opportunity to re-sign Fabregas, but the midfielder revealed that the Gunners decided against this option before he moved to the Blues from Barcelona for £27m last month.
In a lengthy post on his Facebook page, the 27-year-old wrote: "I do feel that I have unfinished business in the Premier League and now is the right time for me to return. Yes, everyone knows that Arsenal had the first option to sign me. They decided not to take this option and therefore it wasn't meant to be. I wish them well in the future."

Both players featured for Spain at the World Cup in Brazil, where they surrendered their world title in woeful fashion. Thankfully, they will start with a clean slate at Chelsea next season.
