Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea are on alert with the midfielder fearing that Barca may force him out of the club. In his first press conference as manager of the Catalan giants earlier this week, new manager Luis Enrique responded to a question about Fabregas's future with the vague answer: "We shouldn’t make any decisions. There is time for everything."
According to The Telegraph, the 27-year-old is aware that Barca view him as one of their most saleable commodities as they look to recoup money to make major signings, having spent £71.5m on Neymar last summer and recently made Lionel Messi the world's highest-paid player on £16.3m a year.
Arsenal agreed a buy-back option on Fabregas when they sold the midfielder to Barca in 2011, and can re-sign him for around £25m.
Fabregas is also a target for Manchester United, with Barca rejecting two bids for the Spain international last summer. Chelsea could also be tempted with a straight-swap deal for David Luiz, who the La Liga side are interested in.
