Manchester United are being linked with a January move for Porto and Netherlands defender Bruno Martins Indi.
Marcos Rojo's future is under threat at Old Trafford with Louis van Gaal reported to be looking at his fellow Dutchman as the perfect replacement.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Martins Indi is a January target after Van Gaal's relationship with Argentinian Rojo has broken down over a string of issues.
United are said to have already sent scouts to watch Martins Indi, who played for Van Gaal in the World Cup last summer.
The 6ft 1in, 23-year-old Martins Indi is capable of playing both in the centre, at left-back and on the left side of a back three.

Rojo was bought for £16.5million last summer but has started just one match this season, missing out to Luke Shaw at the start of the season before picking up an injury of his own; the 25-year-old was almost sold in the summer, with Monaco interested, but Van Gaal decided to keep him for depth.

Van Gaal was also said to be angered at Rojo missing out on the pre-season tour of the US because of passport issues.
