Arsenal have reportedly opened talked over a move for £7m-rated defender Serge Aurier.

Arsene Wenger must find a new right-back with hopes that Bacary Sagna would sign a new contract all but being extinguished.

While the Gunners have Carl Jenkinson to call on, it's expected that Wenger will have to enter the transfer market in order to adequately replace the departing Frenchman who will play his last game in Saturday's FA Cup final.

Reports today suggest attention will be turned to Aurier, with preliminary talks being held with Toulouse over a deal.

Arsenal fans should get an opportunity to watch the 21-year-old in action this summer with the versatile defender a regular in the Ivory Coast team that will be competing in the World Cup in Brazil.

Predominantly a right-back, Aurier can also play in the centre or at left-back. He's also not shy of getting forward, scoring six goals and collecting an equal number of assists in Ligue 1 this term.
