Arsenal target Mario Balotelli could be set to leave AC Milan after his agent confirmed the striker would consider a move away from the San Siro.

Balotelli, who joined the Rossoneri in January 2013, still has four years to run on his current deal and it is thought any move to sign him would cost in excess of £25 million.

And his agent Mino Raiola, who also represents Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a host of other world-class players, revealed the former Manchester City striker could leave Milan after club officials refused to back him following his latest controversy.

"Mario is sad, desperate," Raiola told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Only Galliani has defended him while the FIGC (Italian football federation) remains absolutely silent.

Raiola also hit back at Milan director Babara Berlusconi after she deemed Balotelli as 'replaceable'.

He said: "I appreciate Galliani's comments but now I want to respond to Barbara Berlusconi.

"If for her Mario is replaceable, she should set up a meeting in the club's headquarters and we will find a solution, just as I am used to doing.

"I remember that Mario had other important offers. "He (Balotelli) is at Milan because of his heart - her (Berlusconi), I don't know."

Balotelli has scored 30 goals in 54 appearances since joining Milan but only scored once as Italy crashed out of Group D at the World Cup.
