Your support makes all the difference.Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed he is interested in Ipswich Town defender Tyrone Mings.
Wenger has been linked with a move for the 21-year-old that could cost between £8-10million.
Speaking at his press conference, Wenger said: "We are following a few young players but we are not close to signing anybody".
However, when asked about Mings Wenger said: "He is one of the young players we follow".
The lightning quick youngster, who stands at an imposing 6ft 3in, plays mainly as a left-back but he has played in the centre on occasion and that is where Wenger is believed to see his future.
Mings has started all but one of Ipswich's 19 Championship matches this season, adding four assists to a team that is second in the division and with one of the better defensive records.
The sticking point for a potential January deal could be the price, while Chelsea and Crystal Palace are also said to be interested in a move for the defender. Palace made a move in the summer but their £3m bid was rejected.
Mings was the Championship Player of the Month for September.
