Tottenham have been eyeing up Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah, according to the Mirror.

The paper says the club are looking at the defender as insurance in case Toby Alderweireld leaves and have been watching several of the defender's games recently.

22-year-old Tah is a first-team regular for Leverkusen, having moved from Hamburg three seasons ago, and has also broke into the German national team.

A highly-rated prospect who is comfortable bringing the ball out from defence in the style favoured by Mauricio Pochettino, Tah is valued at around £35m by his club.

Arsenal have shown an interest in Benfica's Andrija Zivkovic, according to The Sun, after sending scouts to watch him play in the game against Maritimo. The paper says Manchester United are also eyeing up the 21-year-old forward for a summer transfer.

Liverpool are reportedly at the front of the pack in the battle for Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri. The Sun says the club have taken the lead in the race for the 26-year-old, who they see as the ideal choice to replace Emre Can.

Arsenal could reportedly go head-to-head with Everton to land Mikel Arteta as their new manager this summer. The Mirror claims the Spaniard has been earmarked as a potential successor to Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and Sam Allardyce at Everton. The paper says the Gunners could cut short Wenger's two-year deal if they decide to bring in a new manager after 22 years.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star suggests the Toffees could be keen to snap up Wenger to help revive their fortunes. The paper says Everton owner Farhad Moshiri believes the Frenchman is the ideal candidate for the rebuilding job at Goodison Park.
