It’s fair to say Alexis Sanchez’s imminent departure to Manchester United has split opinion among Arsenal’s fanbase.

The responses have been mixed, with many relieved to see the back of the player, arguing his contributions throughout the current season have been non-existent, while others have expressed their utter contempt for the Chilean.

“In comparison to the way Cesc [Fabregas] left and [Robin] Van Persie left, this is much worse for me,” says one fan.

Another adds: “To be honest, I have so many mixed emotions about Sanchez leaving Arsenal.”
