The South American side were impressive at the tournament, escaping from Group B thanks to wins over Australia and defending champions Spain, before exiting only after taking hosts Brazil all the way to penalties.
Sanchez played a key role in which he scored against Australia and at the Mineirao Stadium in Belo Horizonte last night. His performances have only increased speculation over his future.
Among those linked with the player are Premier League duo Liverpool and Arsenal.
Liverpool's interest in Sanchez has been known for some time and interest from the Nou Camp in one of their own strikers - Luis Suarez - puts the Anfield outfit in a strong position for negotiations.
Barcelona are understood to remain keen on Suarez despite his four-month ban from football for biting Giorgio Chiellini. Despite the Uruguayan's latest misdemeanour Liverpool will not allow him to leave for a cut-price deal and are expected to hold out for the £80m they believe the striker is worth.
Liverpool may be able to work Sanchez into any deal for Suarez.

Meanwhile Arsenal have also emerged on the scene. Arsene Wenger, who has been scouting players while watching the World Cup in Brazil, is desperate to add to the Gunners' strike force and reports suggest he has made Sanchez his top target. It's claimed Arsenal will make a £32m bid for the 25-year-old.
Juventus and Manchester United have also been linked with the player who scored 21 goals for Barcelona last season.
With new Barcelona manager Luis Enrique overhauling the squad at the Nou Camp Sanchez is likely to be sold - now it is just a matter of where he ends up.
