AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato has admitted that he would consider a move to England when his contract in Italy expires in 2014.

Pato is in London as part of Brazil’s preparation for the Olympics and appears to have a real interest in plying his trade in the Premier League.

"I love English football. I have friends who play for Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United" said the 22-year-old.

"At the moment I have a real taste for playing in the UK, being in London with one month to go before the Olympics."

The striker is currently focused on Brazil’s gold medal bid and on playing well for Milan next season following a difficult last term disrupted by injury but once his contract is up could well be tempted to move.

"My priority is to finish my contract in Milan. I have a lot to thank them for and my focus is to continue doing what I do, to bring joy to the fans in Milan and continue my contract until 2014.

"And then afterwards, who knows?"
