Watt, 18, came off the bench just before the hour with the score at 0-0 to break the deadlock with two goals in three minutes. Captained by Gary Hooper, Celtic played with a much-changed side and were thankful to stand-in keeper Lukasz Zaluska for keeping the score goalless up to half-time before Watt struck. Cha Du-Ri headed Celtic's third late on.
The threat of relegation lingers for Hibernian after they lost 1-0 at home to Kilmarnock, and also lost top-scorer Gary O'Connor to a foot injury.
