Your support makes all the difference.The Kilmarnock midfielder Peter Canero believes Scotland's new Under-21 coach Rainer Bonhof can mould them into a successful team.
The 21-year-old scored his first international goal in Tuesday night's 1-1 draw with their Danish counterparts at East End Park to give the former West Germany player plenty of encouragement for the future.
Canero was impressed with Bonhof in his first game in charge of the side "It's a different set-up since he came over and it's quite good," he said. "It's hard to get used to new ideas, but after a while it will settle down and will work with us.
"There's going to be a lot of games coming up in the next six months to a year and the more we play together the better it will be, so that would help us.
"Being together more will help us to get to know each other as a team. With all the players just coming together recently nobody has really played together. There are a lot of new faces but I thought we did reasonably well."
The Rangers midfielder Stephen Hughes has similarly been impressed with Bonhof in the short space of time he has worked under him. "He is very positive and relaxed and knows what he wants with the team," Hughes said.
He also enjoyed playing alongside Manchester United's Michael Stewart and is hoping they can make their mark for their clubs soon and gain more international honours.
"He is a good player," Hughes added. "He wouldn't be with Manchester United for nothing in their squad. He is a really good player and I enjoyed playing with him in midfield.
"All me and Michael can do is bide our time and keep plugging away and hopefully we can get a chance."
