Your support makes all the difference.Scottish Premiership side Partick Thistle completed the sort of signing which will make supporters across the world do a double take when they announced the arrival of Mathias Pogba.
The older brother of Juventus star Paul, the 24-year-old has signed a one-year deal in Scotland following spells with Pescara Calcio and Crawley Town.
On his move, Pogba senior said: "It’s great to finally sign for Partick Thistle and I am glad to be a player here. I have played the last six months with Crawley Town but since then I have been looking for a new club.
"It has been a long summer but I have been patient and I liked the offer from Partick Thistle so that is why I came here.
"Definitely as a footballer you would like to be known as you, not as the brother of Paul. Everybody has been talking about my brother, but now it would be nice to say OK, Mathias Pogba is here."
Pogba is joined by Dundee United's Rodney Sneijder in being overshadowed by a more famous brother in Scottish football, but is looking forward to his Thistle debut nonetheless.
"It would be a very good debut for me and a very big game for the team and for me as well, as a new player here."
