The Scottish champions go into today's match against Borussia Dortmund at the Westfalenstadion with a 2-0 advantage from the first leg; but their central defender Moore, the Scottish Premier League's November Player of the Month, is aware of the danger the German striker poses.
"Bobic has aerial ability and if we stop crosses coming into him we have a chance," said Moore. "There was a five-minute spell at Ibrox when he came close a couple of times and that was a warning to us. We must be able to snuff out these crosses."
However, Dortmund, European champions in 1997, are a club in crisis under their coach, Michael Skibbe. They have not won in 10 games and Skibbe has been given the dreaded vote of confidence by the club's president, Gerd Niebaum.
Rangers will be without the injured Stefan Klos, Lionel Charbonnier, Sergio Porrini, Colin Hendry, Michael Mols, Jonatan Johansson and Gabriel Amato.
Claudio Reyna, Jörg Albertz and Rod Wallace took part in a short practice match on Sunday. However, it remains to be seen whether any of the three will be able to play the full 90 minutes. It looks likely that the former Scotland striker Gordon Durie, who was in the starting line-up at Aberdeen last week, will retain his place.
