At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. LATEST: West Brom vs Manchester United
The Colombian striker, on loan from Monaco, scored his first goal for the Red Devils in his last outing. Yet despite captain Wayne Rooney being suspended, Louis van Gaal has opted to leave him out of the starting XI. Van Gaal has said it is due to the player being jet-lagged.
He's joined on the bench by Michael Carrick. It is the first Van Gaal squad the England midfielder has been named in as he returns from injury.
The recently injured Phil Jones and Ander Herrera also come into the side for the visitors to the Hawthorns, along with youngster Adnan Januzaj.
Manchester United's attack will be led by Angel Di Maria, Juan Mata and Robin van Persie.
For West Brom, there is no Ben Foster in the side, with deputy Boaz Myhill coming in to replace him.
