Sterling will want to justify his enormous £49m transfer fee and in City’s fluid attacking system he may have just found a perfect fit. Rickie Lambert: The former Southampton man endured what was far from a dream season on Merseyside, but within hours of signing for West Brom netted a brace in a pre-season friendly. Should he be able to recapture his Southampton form, he could take away some of the goalscoring burden from Saido Berahino’s shoulders.
