Diego Costa returns to the Chelsea starting XI tonight as the Premier League champions take on West Brom at The Hawthorns.

The Spain striker has been sidelined since the Blues win over Stoke in early April because of a long-standing hamstring injury.

In that match Costa, returning from injury, had to be replaced just 12 minutes after coming on as a half-time substitute following another hamstring setback

Ruben Loftus-Cheek earns his second consecutive Premier League start after the 19-year-old was selected by Jose Mourinho ahead of their 1-1 draw with Liverpool last time out.

Meanwhile, John Terry remains on course to complete a full Premier League campaign this season, with the Chelsea captain having played in every minute of the Blues title-winning season.

As expected, there is also a place on the Chelsea bench for Izzy Brown, who is set to make his full Blues debut against hist former club.

The 18-year-old left the Hawthorns in 2013 after becoming the second-youngest player in Premier League history after making his debut against Wigan Athletic at just 16 years and 117 days.
