Robin van Persie has overcome the illness to start upfront from Manchester United as they take on West Brom at the Hawthorns.
Both Juan Mata and Adnan Januzaj, who sat out of United’s chastening 2-0 defeat to Olympiacos 11 days ago, start alongside the Dutchman and Wayne Rooney.
Phil Jones has also recovered from a hip injury to start at centre-back but Jonny Evans (calf) and Nani (hamstring) remain out.
For West Brom Chris Burnt starts and James Morrison makes the bench despite picking up injuries on international duty in mid-week. They make five changes to the starting line-up that drew 1-1 with Fulham two weeks ago.
Steven Reid, Gareth McAuley, Claudio Yacob, Zoltan Gera and Victor Anichebe all come in while Nicolas Anelka starts his five-match ban.
Line-ups:
West Brom: Foster, Reid, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell, Yacob, Mulumbu, Amalfitano, Gera, Brunt, Anichebe.
Subs: Morrison, Myhill, Vydra, Dawson, Sessegnon, Berahino, Thievy.
Manchester United: De Gea, Da Silva, Smalling, Jones, Evra, Carrick, Fellaini, Mata, Rooney, Januzaj, van Persie.
Subs: Giggs, Lindegaard, Vidic, Young, Welbeck, Fletcher, Kagawa.
Referee: Jon Moss (W Yorkshire)
