Manchester City will be full of confidence following their 3-0 victory over Swansea last Saturday.

The win moved Manuel Pellegrini’s team up to third in the Premier League, six points behind leaders Arsenal. On Wednesday they face a stuttering West Brom team who have only won one out their last 7 matches. The Baggies, under manager Steve Clark, face a Manchester team that have scored 20 goals in their last four Premier League matches; by contrast West Brom have scored 7 in the same period. Despite West Brom’s mixed form, they have recently managed to keep a decent record at home, having won two and drawn two of their last four games at The Hawthorns. The ground has also played witness to notable conflict between the two sides, with four red cards being shown in the last 5 games inside the West Midlands stadium.
