Chelsea survived a nervy finish to defeat Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road and extend their imperious away record to seven successive wins under Frank Lampard.

It looked as though the Blues would stroll past the Premier League‘s bottom side when Tammy Abraham latched onto a brilliant through ball from Jorginho in the opening minutes.

Christian Pulisic then doubled the lead with a close-range finish in what was another impressive performance from the American.

However, Gerard Deulofeu won a dubious penalty that was given after a video review, much to the dismay of Jorginho, that set up an exceedingly nervy finale.

With the last attack of the game, Ben Foster charged up for the set-piece and saw his header spectacularly saved by Kepa Arrizabalaga ensuring the three points and cementing his side’s place in the top four. Here are our ratings from the game:
