Louis van Gaal asked to be judged on his start to life at Manchester United after three months, having experienced early difficulties at both Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Three wins in the Premier League, including back-to-back victories over West Ham and Everton, have helped lift United up to fourth in the table, and despite a rocky start things appear to be on the up at Old Trafford.

That said, United still suffered the embarrassing 4-0 League Cup exit to MK Dons, while the stunning 5-3 defeat to Leicester will remain long in the memory of not just the Foxes' faithful, but football fans on the whole, such was the turnaround at the King Power Stadium.

Van Gaal has proven to favour the comfort of the dug-out rather than voicing his demands on the touchline, but he's also assembled a star-studded attack that is certainly a joy to watch - even if their defence leaves a lot to be desired.

Having spent over £150m, Van Gaal can barely afford to fail in getting the club back into Europe, but how do you feel he has gone about his start to life at United? Well here's your chance to voice your opinion.

Vote below on whether Van Gaal has lived up to his high billing, or whether it's all going to amount to a season of failure once more.
