Lucky for Luis Suarez he has signed a new five-year contract at Liverpool - it will give the Uruguayan plenty of time to be able to understand his three-year-old daughter’s scouse accent.
The striker has been in incredible form this season, scoring 19 goals in 12 Premier League matches to fire the Reds to the top of the table after returning from a 10-match suspension for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanoivic, and is now happy again at Anfield after the club blocked his move away during the summer. He’s even happy young Delfina has picked up the local dialect.
“My daughter goes to nursery and she speaks like a Scouser – I don’t understand when she speaks to me in English!” he said in a video posted on the club’s YouTube channel.
In the charming video Suarez is interviewed by Kop Kids’ reporter Finn, who quizzes the forward on a number of other topics, including Brendan Rodgers, “who he calls a very good coach”, his goal celebration, and he even joins in on a rendition of Reds' anthem You’ll Never Walk Alone.
