From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. The summer window is here with clubs already beginning their spending sprees.

Bournemouth have snapped up Lloyd Kelly from Bournemouth for £13m from Bristol City, with Liverpool reportedly previously interested.

Unai Emery will hope to clinch his first silverware in north London when Arsenal take on Chelsea in the Europa League final.

But after a modest outlay last summer, the Gunners look set to hand the Spaniard a sizeable budget this year.

And Yannick Carrasco, who has been previously linked with a move to the Emirates, could emerge as a target once again.

That is because, according to the Sun, the Belgian winger wants out at Chinese outfit Dalian Yifang with the Premier League his desired destination.

The Gunners look set to be busy, with Goal reporting that Saint-Etienne’s William Saliba, 18, is another target.

Manchester United could move for Stoke's Nathan Collins with the Mail claiming Darren Fletcher has recommended the youngster.

Elsewhere, Man City could push for a big signing to replace the outgoing Vincent Kompany, and therefore build on their treble-winning success.

Harry Maguire is the No 1 target, with the Mail claiming the fee could exceed the £75 million that Liverpool paid Southampton for Virgil van Dijk.

Sources in Italy list Arsenal and Juventus as interested in Roma’s Kostas Manolas, with the capital club likely to sell some of their best players again this summer.
