From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Tottenham begin their pre-season campaign on Tuesday morning when they face Italian side Juventus in Melbourne, as part of the International Champions Cup. The match against the Serie A side takes place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, kicking off at 11am BST.

Spurs will seek to build on last season’s fine season, when they competed with Leicester City for the Premier League title until the final weeks of the campaign, before a stumble in the last month saw them finish third and, once again, behind their bitter rivals Arsenal.

Mauricio Pochettino has already been busy in the transfer market this summer, bringing in Vincent Wanyama in midfield and Vincent Janssen up front, with Federico Fazio, Nabil Bentaleb and Alex Pritchard all on their way out of White Hart Lane. Nacer Chadli and Kieran Trippier have also been linked with departures from north London in recent weeks.

Pochettino has left a number of players behind as his side arrived in Melbourne at the weekend, with England quartet Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Eric Dier all being given extra time to recover from their Euro 2016 travails, along with Hugo Lloris, handed compassionate leave following the terrorist attacks in his home city of Nice.

Belgian trio Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele also miss out, along with Wales lef-back Ben Davies. Austrian Kevin Wimmer is the only Spurs player involved in Euro 2016 to make the trip to Australia. Bentaleb, Pritchard and Fazio have all been told they can find new clubs, while Clinton Njie is injured.

Other star names for supporters to watch out for at the MCC include Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela, Heung-min Son, Chadli and Wanyama.

Tottenham's squad Luke Amos, Dominic Ball, Tom Carroll, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Chadli, Marcus Edwards, Eriksen, Tom Glover, Shayon Harrison, Janssen, Lamela, Ryan Mason, Luke McGee, Will Miller, Josh Onomah, Son, Trippier, Michel Vorm, Kyle Walker-Peters, Anton Walkes, Wanyama, Wimmer, Harry Winks, DeAndre Yedlin.

Italian champions Juventus have also rested a number of well-known players following their European Championship exploits, with Gianluigi Buffon and Paul Pogba among those absent.

Giorgio Chiellini, Simone Zaza, Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Stefano Sturaro and Claudio Marchisio have also stayed at home, along with Sami Khedira, Mario Mandzukic, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Patrice Evra, as well as new signing Dani Alves.

The Serie A side lost their opening match of the competition, going down 4-3 on penalties to Melbourne Victory on Saturday after a 1-1 draw.

What time does it start?

The match kicks-off at 11:00am BST on Tuesday 26 July at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Where can I watch it?

The match will be shown live on Sky Sports 1 in the UK.
